Why a New Good Buzz Flavour Takes Time πŸ“πŸ‹β€πŸŸ©πŸŒΏ

Launching a new flavour sounds simple enough. Pick some flavours, brew them up, bottle them and away you go… right?

Not quite when you’re brewing authentic kombucha from scratch.

Strawberry Lime actually goes way back in Good Buzz history. It was a flavour we brewed back in the day, but it was short-lived β€” and one we always wanted to bring back, better than ever.

So, we started playing.

We experimented with different tea bases, eventually landing on a blend of green and black tea, a first for Good Buzz. Strawberry brought the fruity sweetness, lime added the zing, but we wanted another flavour layer to give the old favourite something a little different.

Enter mint. 🌿

Just enough to add a fresh finish and bring the whole brew together.

Our kombucha ferments for around 12–14 days, so creating something new means plenty of testing, tasting and tweaking along the way.

The result? Strawberry Lime Mint,Β an old Good Buzz idea, brewed a little differently and brought back better than ever.

Brewed here in the Bay. Bottled alive.Β
